Melissa:  Healing is not just my job; it’s my passion in life.  Since 2002 I knew I was going to start a spa in Estes Park.  People come to Rocky Mountain National Park for healing, and Riverspointe Spa is a natural extension of this.

I am well balanced in every feature on our menu; however, my specialties are energy work and Raindrop Therapy.  I have been practicing Reiki since 2000, and became a Massage Therapist in 2006 when I realized I love working with people on an individual basis and providing healing.

Brooke:  As a Massage Therapist, I strive with each massage session to provide the physical relaxation, and the energetic space my clients need for their minds and bodies to heal, rejuvenate, and re-align.  My specialties are Thai-Yoga Massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, and Swedish Massage.  I would consider my massage style to be a little of everything.  I like to incorporate long flowing strokes typical of Lomi Lomi, as well as Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy into my massages.  I am happy to accommodate anyone’s requests for a certain style or modality of massage.

I graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2005, specializing in Integrative Massage.

Lindsay:  I’ve been with Riverspointe Spa since its opening month, and have enjoyed it tremendously. I became a CMT after moving to Colorado in 2005. Since 2001, I’d been seeing chiropractors and massage therapists to help me heal from an early case of scoliosis, and became fascinated by their work. My whole family has benefited from chiropractic care and massage therapy; my brother and sister-in-law are doctors of chiropractors as of 2009. After many years of working part time jobs that left me feeling restless and complacent, I made a choice to enter a profession that would let me return home every night satisfied in my work.

I attended Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO, and graduated in late 2006. I became a Reiki III Master in January of 2009. Between my training in neuromuscular therapy and energy work, I hope my clients have a profound physical, emotional, and mental release in our sessions. Most of my specialties center on deeper work, like Therapeutic massage, Body Insight, and Warm Bamboo Massage.

Kathy:  I graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in December 2005.  I have an educational background in Western science.  I became interested in massage therapy as a way of exploring alternative therapies and Eastern healing techniques.  Since graduating from massage school, I have studied traditional Thai massage and healing, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Reiki energy healing, and canine massage therapy.

I enjoy exploring new therapies with my clients.  I find that clients benefit greatly from Thai massage which incorporates stretching and movement of joints with massage and energy work.  My specialty seems to be massage and energy work for the purpose of relaxation.  With each session, I try to leave my clients in a more balanced and relaxed state, perhaps with some new insight into their body-mind-spirit connections.

Riverspointe Spa is a team of highly diversified and extremely professional Registered Massage Therapists.  We all come from different backgrounds, but share a common compassion as healers.
