Gilded Pine Meadows—Bed and Breakfast

This beautiful historic home was built by James H. Boyd, who grew up in Sterling, Colorado where he worked as a cowboy, driving cattle from Texas to Montana.  In 1902 Mr. Boyd moved to Estes park, where he established himself as the town’s first blacksmith and pioneering business man.  In 1907, James and his bride Fannie Belle built their summer home on Elkhorn Avenue, and in 1927, moved it by horse and trailer north of town to its current location, 861 Big Horn Drive.

Your hosts, Caprissa and Eric Frawley, welcome you to Estes Park and provide you with the hospitality of a by-gone era where tranquility, relaxation and simplicity govern your day.
