Estes Park is a beautiful mountain getaway, nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
It’s the perfect place for quiet and repose, as well as shopping, hiking, camping,
and backpacking. Take one whiff of our fresh, crisp pine air, and you’ll know you’ve
found your own little slice of heaven in Estes Park. The following are some of the
things that we think make our little town particularly unique and are our favorite
things to do in Estes Park:
Although Estes Park’s Hidden Valley Ski Area closed in 1991, an amazing hill for
sledding, cross country skiing, and hike-up, ski-down still remains one of Estes
Park’s greatest winter activities. Grab your sleds, a thermos of hot chocolate,
and go play in the snow!
Shop till you drop
Downtown Estes Park offers a multitude of unique shops for gifts, outdoor gear, candy
and chocolate, art galleries, jewelry, and much more! You’re sure to find a treasure
or two in Estes Park’s downtown shopping area.
Estes Park is a perfect place to truly escape from the rest of the world, your job,
your life, your stresses. One of the greatest features of Estes Park’s relaxation-factor
is that everything surrounding you is beautiful! Our favorite places to commune
with nature, and check-in with yourself are: Gem Lake Trail,Bridal Veil Falls Trail,
take a drive South from Estes Park on Hwy 7 (the Peak-toPeak highway) for beautiful
scenery (stop in Nederland too - a cool town with a groovy hippie vibe), and of course…visit
us at Riverspointe Spa!
