Top Things to do in Estes Park

Take a hike!

Estes Park is a hiker’s Mecca!  Whether you enjoy a gentle stroll, or a more challenging hike, Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park has endless trails for you to explore.

Check out RockyMountainNationalPark.com for a comprehensive guide on hikes, trails, where to stay, and what to do in Estes Park.

Winter sledding

Although Estes Park’s Hidden Valley Ski Area closed in 1991, an amazing hill for sledding, cross country skiing, and hike-up, ski-down still remains one of Estes Park’s greatest winter activities.  Grab your sleds, a thermos of hot chocolate, and go play in the snow!

Shop till you drop

Downtown Estes Park offers a multitude of unique shops for gifts, outdoor gear, candy and chocolate, art galleries, jewelry, and much more!  You’re sure to find a treasure or two in Estes Park’s downtown shopping area.

Eat, Eat, Eat!

Estes Park offers a variety of excellent restaurants to choose from.  Our favorites include: Dave’s BBQ, The Tavern Restaurant at Mary’s Lake Lodge, Mama Rose’s, Poppy’s Pizza & Grill, Twin Owls Steakhouse, Nepal’s Cafe, The Rock Inn, Ed’s Cantina… and Kind Coffee for your caffeine fix!

RELAX!…you’re on vacation after all

Estes Park is a perfect place to truly escape from the rest of the world, your job, your life, your stresses.  One of the greatest features of Estes Park’s relaxation-factor is that everything surrounding you is beautiful!  Our favorite places to commune with nature, and check-in with yourself are: Gem Lake Trail, Bridal Veil Falls Trail, take a drive South from Estes Park on Hwy 7 (the Peak-toPeak highway) for beautiful scenery (stop in Nederland too – a cool town with a groovy hippie vibe), and of course…visit us at Riverspointe Spa!
